On Saturday 1 September, at the Baptist Church in Belgrade premises, Christian humanitarian organization Bread of Life organized an exhibition of decorative items created by older people. This was a final event in the project “Support to senior activism through development of entrepreneurship – Daily Club Creative Workshops for Seniors” that was implemented by Bread of Life over ten months within the framework of the regional project “Taking Action on Social Inclusion of Older People” (TASIOP) coordinated by the Red Cross of Serbia in five Western Balkans Countries with support of European Union, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross.

The project aimed to motivate older people, members of the Daily Club of the Bread of Life, to participate in creative workshops, gain knowledge and skills related to tailoring and sewing as the basis for design work, as well as to join the learning on how to create different decorative items that will be of a good enough quality to be offered for sale. This increases social inclusion of older people in local communities. The exhibition was organized with participation of authors and featured a broad offer of decorative items created over the ten months of the project implementation.
