The Republic Institute for Social Protection has on 19 July 2018 at its offices organised a focus group with representatives of relevant organisations and institutions working with older people.

The Republic Institute has in cooperation with Faculty of Philosophy of Nis University performed a “Research into Obstacles in Exercising the Rights to Primary Healthcare of Beneficiaries in Residential Care for Adults and Older People”, as part of PERFORM programme. The Research involved the Red Cross of Serbia, HumanaS Network and ISP Evergreen as well as other organisations, institutions and experts, so they were also invited to participate in the focus group. The objective of the focus group session was to present the research findings as well as to provide comments and ideas for suggestions and recommendations on how to ensure better accessible primary healthcare services in residential care.
